Ready for a lone star staycation? Look no further than the perfectly retro Stonewall Motor Lodge, a perfectly restored classic 1960s motel nestled nestled along the 290 Wine Trail.

Originally built in 1964, the Stonewall has plenty of rustic Texas charm. Its 12 remodeled midcentury modern rooms boast a stylish teal and earth-tone color scheme and 1960ā€™s artwork, patterns, and furniture. No mini motel soaps hereā€” treat yourself to complimentary William Roam products in a stylishly tiled bathroom.

For extra privacy, the Stonewall also offers four cabins; one with one king bed and the others with two queens. All of the midcentury charm, but no shared walls. Each of the cabins has a sitting area out on the porch, perfect for taking in a quiet Texas morning with a cup of complimentary coffee!

The Stonewall goes the extra mile for guest amenities with an indoor guest lodge and a second floor sun deck with two fire pits for guests to mingle. The motor lodge sits on three gorgeous oak tree-filled acres and the Stonewall has set up an indoor/outdoor space called The Barn for socializing, opening a bottle of wine, and listening to live music under the lights and the stars.

The Stonewall is also very close to some of the areaā€™s best spots for taking in natural beauty.
